In the distant land of Kawato, the emperor's bloodline has ruled the land for millennia with an iron fist. Many have attempted to overthrow the imperial family and seize power, but all those who attempt this are intercepted and eliminated by the Kurokawa Squad.

A corps of elite ninjas serving the emperor, in exchange for all kinds of benefits and luxuries for their clan, these shinobi dedicate themselves body and soul to the protection of His Majesty.
